If you're interested in connecting with other ladies, then this ministry is for you!

We will take 12 weeks to discover how the fruit of the Spirit can be more evident in our lives.

Our curriculum will be the video and workbook from Beth Moore's "Living Beyond Yourself: The Fruit of the Spirit," and we will of course get into a lot of meaningful discussions and conversations!

Lifevine meets each Thursday from 7:00-8:30 pm near Rosemont (Hwy 50 & Bradshaw).

For more information and carpool arrangements, please contact Heather here.

We'll sing a few songs, greet one another, and hear a great, relevant message from the Bible. You'll leave encouraged, too!

"What should I wear?"

Wear what makes you feel comfortable. Most people in our church wear casual clothes, but some folks enjoy wearing suit coats and dresses. It's all good!

"Will I have to say or give anything?"

No. We want you to simply checkout our church and worship the Lord with us!

"What about my kids?"

We have a great program called City Kids for all children ages infant through 11. This program meets during the same time as the main worship service. You'll find more information at our welcome table!

"What else should I know?"

We currently meet in a school multipurpose room. So be prepared to hangout with us in a casual atmosphere. Regardless of the location, we know and experience the truth that God's presence is with His people wherever they meet!

We hope to see you this Sunday!

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/0/3301/2259653/Untitled-1_640.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="426" width_o="670" height_o="447" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/0/3301/2259653/Untitled-1_o.jpg" align="left" />
Jesus is Lord. Since the time that humankind fell into sin at the Garden of Eden, God has been unfolding His plan to bring us completely back to Himself. And that plan completely hinges upon Jesus Christ. Read on . . .

The salvation from sin that Jesus would one day bring to us was pictured through the sacrifices of animals for the sins of the people during the times of the Old Testament. When the blood of an animal (such as an ox, goat, or lamb) was shed on an altar, a covering was made for a person's sin. However, this kind of sacrifice was insufficient to completely remove a person's sin: it merely "covered" it in the eyes of God. This is because the blood of animals is not a worthy enough payment for the sins of humankind to wipe away your sins or mine. This is where Jesus comes in . . .

2000 years ago in Bethlehem, Jesus Christ, God's only Son, was born of the Virgin Mary. Being 100% God yet 100% man, Jesus was born sinless. When John the Baptist saw Jesus (by now approx. 30 years old) coming to be baptized, John declared: "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world." What John was declaring to the people was the fact that Jesus (not animals) would now become the ultimate sacrifice for sin. Jesus would shed His blood so that we might be completely forgiven in the eyes of God.

3 years later, John's declaration was fulfilled. Jesus was betrayed by one of His own disciples (Judas Iscariot) into the hands of the disbelieving religious rules of the day. These religious rulers in turn handed over Jesus to Pontius Pilate, the governor of the region. At the end of a gross mockery of a "trial," Jesus was at last condemned to be executed . . . by crucifixion.

On a hill called Calvary, Jesus was crucified. One nail through each wrist and one nail through His ankles. Beaten, mocked, spit upon, scorned, and rejected by men, Jesus hanged there on the Cross, shedding His perfect, sinless blood. After mustering out His final words--"It is finished!"--the Scriptures say that Jesus bowed His head and died.

Why?

For us.

Jesus' blood (infinitely more worthy than the blood of any animal) was shed and Jesus died as a sacrifice for our sins. Jesus' blood does not merely cover our sin; Jesus' blood completely washes all of our sin away; thus, we are now able--through the blood of Jesus--to be completely brought back to God.

What sin did to separate each of us from the Lord, so the death and blood of Jesus did to bring us back to God!

Three days after Jesus died He rose from the dead! He showed Himself to people for 40 days and then ascended back into Heaven. Right now Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father in Heaven. Do you believe this?

And right now all of your sins can be forgiven! You can be brought back to God by the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ!

How?

By giving your life to Jesus Christ at this very moment. Simply pray something like the following:

Dear God, I know that I've sinned against You and I'm sorry. I believe that Jesus died for me on the Cross as a sacrifice for my sin. I believe that He rose from the dead three days later. Right here and now I give my entire life to the risen Lord Jesus. Forgive my sins and save my soul! In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.
If you just prayed to give your life to Jesus, take the time to immediately send a quick email to our Pastor who would like to pray with you and give you some encouragement for your new life in Christ!

Just write in the subject line: "I got saved."

Send an email to Pastor Glenn here

We rejoice with you! Your new life with God has only just begun!

We consider it our business to put spiritual tools into people's hands so they know how to follow Christ and serve Him according to God's perfect will.

The focus of our equipping ministry revolves around evangelism, discipleship, and sacrificial living for the sake of Christ's glory and His Gospel.
